How LessonsLearnt collects, uses, and protects personal data. This is a plain-language summary - the full legal text is available on request.
We collect only the data needed to run the platform: account details for staff and students, the wellbeing check-ins and lesson feedback students provide, and the records counsellors create. Student feedback is anonymous to teachers by design.
Data is used solely to provide the service - surfacing wellbeing patterns, generating feedback summaries, and alerting the right adult when a student may need support. We do not sell data, and we do not use your students' data to train external AI models.
All data is processed and stored within the EU. Student mental health data is encrypted and accessible only to assigned counsellors, with full audit trails.
Under GDPR, individuals have the right to access, correct, and erase their personal data. Schools act as data controllers and can exercise these rights on behalf of their users. Data Processing Agreements are available for procurement.
